Astelle and the Aspect

A digital commission for a climactic moment during a 5e Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Astelle (dragonborn bard-sorceror pictured left) comes into contact with a mysterious dragon skull locked away in a vault. The skull houses the spirit of the Dragon Aspect: Progenitor of all Dragons in that world; revealing that Astelle is one of the Aspect's reincarnations. Astelle becomes overcome by the power, possessed and hostile to his fellow travelling companions until Arisoren (the party's goliath paladin-barbarian) smashed the skull: freeing Astelle and allowing them to escape.
